PROMiXX 2.0 Review

Read on to see what the biggest differences are between the two vortex models.

The original PROMiXX was brilliantly designed and now the 2.0 version has pushed passed the initial boundaries of the original, think of the new version as the original but on steroids. The new 2.0 version comes in three colours, black, blue and sliver.
The scientifically engineered X-shaped blunt blade has been designed to preserve the integrity of the nutrients. This is important as with regular bottled shakers when you are shaking you can damage and destroy the delicate nutrients within your supplements, rather than damage or shred the nutrient fibres the X blade blends the powder so that it can merge properly with the liquid.
To use the PROMiXX it’s as simple as filling the shaker with the recommended amount of water (250ml – 450ml), pressing the button at the base of the shaker to activate the motor, which then starts the vortex. Once the vortex has started you can proceed to add in your powdered supplements. After a brief 10 seconds or so, your shake will be completely blended and lump-free!
The biggest differences between the original PROMiXX and the PROMiXX 2.0
The original PROMiXX took AAA batteries, which annoying ran out pretty fast. The 2.0 comes with a USB charging cable for its rechargeable lithium ion battery with 16,000rpm high torque motor, which basically means it’s faster than ever.
The NUTRiPOD is now included and not an added accessory like the original. The NUTRiPOD can hold up to 100g of your chosen supplement so that you can take your powder on the go.
The vortex in the 2.0 is a lot faster to build, which is down to its more powerful motor. For a direct comparison have a look at the video below. The PROMiXX 2.0 is the one on the left and the original PROMiXX is on the right.
In terms of design both models are pretty similar, there really isn’t much ascetical difference. The newer version sports a shiny new, brushed aluminium finish that adds a real premium look to the shaker. The original has a coloured top and the 2.0 has clear top, which doesn’t really provide any functional benefit but it does make it look a bit cooler.
The PROMiXX 2.0 has a sports flip cap, which is perfect for those on the go. It also feels premium unlike a lot of cheap, plastic shakers on the market at the moment. The shaker also has a twist-seal lid, which guarantees that no fluid is spilled.
The PROMiXX 2.0 also features a measurement scale on the side of the bottle with a 600ml capacity (the recommended quantity being anywhere between 250-450ml). The PROMiXX 2.0 also features a detachable base that is home to the motor, which is convenient as it makes for easy maintenance and cleaning. The PROMiXX is dishwasher safe as long as you remember to take the motor out before hand.
The PROMiXX 2.0 is an increase on everything that was already good with the original. PROMiXX continue to be the next generation of supplement mixing sports bottles, and whilst the competitors have been busy mimicking the original vortex, PROMiXX continue to stay one step ahead.
The sleek, stylish bottle is perfect for those on the go. With a price of $49.99 to get that ultra smooth mix with the premium look it certainly wont break the bank, but if you feel that it is still too much then don’t worry, the original PROMiXX is only $25.00 click here to purchase the original PROMiXX, or click here to check out our review of the original PROMiXX.
